I've got a cat that, whenever anyone goes into the bathroom, she jumps up on the piano and smacks them when they exit.

My cat is constantly sprinting up the steps when people are walking down them -- which I can only imagine is an attempt to get someone to fall down the stairs, which has almost happened on many occasions. And I don't mean that the cat will happen to be running up the stairs when someone is coming down, I mean that the cat will sit there and wait until she hears someone, then start running.

If you feel compelled to get a pet, get a toy dog instead... I was surprised to find they're just like cats, except friendly.
