Clearly this fucktard still doesn't get it. She was fed wrong information, probably by someone looking to distort the facts of the case and she went with that instead of doing her own research. Her intelligence is a hoax.

Both of these incomprehensibly stupid woman were elected... Scary to even think about.
Fox says that Shepherd was not killed because of the fact that he was gay but rather because the men were wanting to rob him.
Olbermann rebuts this by saying that the men knew that Shepherd was gay and that they acted gay themselves in order to lure him into seclusion. Did any of the attackers ever say that they attacked him because he was gay?
Isn't a hate crime one that is committed because the victim is gay, black, etc? I don't know a lot about this case, but from this video it sounds like they wanted to rob him and just happened to use the fact that he was gay to lure him into a vulnerable situation.
I think she is actually making a good point. It is not a hate crime simply because the victim is gay, even if the attackers know he is gay. If they attacked him because he was gay then that would be a hate crime, but Olbermann didn't mention the attackers ever saying that. They may have attacked him because of his sexual preference, but that is never established in this video.

Yea, I'm not sure I understand the point of hate crime laws myself. If people are going to torture and kill someone then why does it matter if they did it because he was gay? It seems like a pretty terrible thing to do for any reason.
I suspect while they may even have good intentions, neither does anything as a deterrence.
