I'm pretty sure that this is the only released footage from the Warcraft adventure game that tragically never saw the light of day (I mean, it looks a bit hokey now, but I remember being pretty excited about it back in the day).

Why would Blackmoore do that? I mean if they've pretty much killed off the horde, why raise an orc to be a perfect leader for them, with the strength of both factions?

On another note altogether. If you disregard the green skin, huge mouths with equally huge teeth and medieval setting, doesn't this clip kind of remind you of the movie "300"? I mean, we have the harsh upbringing, preparing the young man to be a fierce leader, we have footage of him running around half naked while screaming his heart out, cut back to more harsh training and punishment and finally cut to a battlefield and end with the "tonight you sleep in hell" which is very much like the end of the 300 trailer where the king yells "tonight we dine in hell"

Ahh I remember watching this. The story seemed nice and dark, at least better than the over played crap they wrote for WarCraft 3...

Sarzy, this isn't just dated. There is plenty of great animation in the world before 1997. This looks like it was designed and animated by retarded people on nyQuil.
