Qui Gon, worst jedi ever?

Qui-Gon, potentially the worst jedi ever?
swampgirlsays...

The whole bet thing w/ the races to win Anakin's freedom was dumb. He has a freakin light saber. Hello? Cut the big mosquito in half and free mom and chosen one.

Pretty hilarious if you compare stories of all the other jedi. He FAILed ..alot.
Hence why it's funny when he gets stabbed. = D

He's sorta like the Morpheus to Anakin's Neo from the Matrix.

He was always gettin' his ass kicked. Apprentice is a much better job.

No, absolutely not... Just think outside the box for a moment, geez! Qui-Gon was unorthodox, yes - and if more Jedi thought like he did - they may not have fallen - and Sidious knew this which is why he practically programmed Maul to search and destroy and take out the one Jedi who could have stopped him..

It wasn’t Qui-Gon’s fault the Jedi Council (including Yoda) effed up big time. and are you guys forgetting it was Qui-Gon who taught the Jedi how to retain - their consciousness when they Joined the Force? If you don't believe me, get the novellisation of RotS (Paperback) pages 441-2 and yes, Lucas cold have written a way better script for Episode I - so please don't blame Qui-Gon for that. And in RotS when Sidious mentions that there's ONE who had overcome death (he lead Analin to believe it was Plagueis) but it was in fact Qui-Gon and we know this as Yoda mentions it at the end of the movie - or weren't you guys watching?

Anyway, Seawave's said it better here on her page:
