Wait- John Travolta's character DIES? Way to ruin the ending for me. How about a spoiler alert next time?

All kidding aside, this was very interesting.

So moral of the story the whole time was "pay attention or die"?

I always thought the movie was about redemption. At least for Samael L. Jackson's character.

I just laughed through that whole movie. The part in which the usher almost kicked me out, was the car scene with bruce willis stopped at a light intersection.

I love that we're finally living in a world where stabbing someone in the back with a katana is considered the 'moral thing'.

Not sure how well you recall the movie, but no one was stabbed in the back... The only person to meet the sharp end of the katana was Maynard, who got slashed across the chest, and then stabbed in the gut.

At any rate, the moral thing he references there was when Butch had the opportunity to get out of the store while Zed was busy with Marsellus, but he chose instead to go back and rescue a man who quite likely still wanted him dead.

At any rate, it's a great movie!

At least he didn't settle with the chainsaw.
