"thats fine, they have a right to be scared, because thats why I'm here tonight!..."
How *obscure this got on the sift without any channel assignment.
Must be that rogue helicopter pilot with his hand in the pie again. (I'm getting scared - but that's okay because it's my right.)
Really need to look up the word compassion. I mean, really, you can obviously tell the man has serious mental issues, maybe it's schizophrenia like bamdrew says, maybe it's something else, but he's obviously not running with all faculties firing.
Rather than ridiculing people like this, they need to be calmly talked with, let them air their issues, try and get them to rationalize what they're saying, and get them some help. People like this are likely to do dangerous things when they get very agitated, but far moreso if they don't get understanding and compassion, but are rather ignored and ridiculed and pushed and pushed until they think the only way to get attention is to do something violent.
Think how you'd like a relative treated if they suffered from a mental illness, and then recheck what you say about people like this.
Mink has it. This guy is classic paranoid schizophrenic. He needs help in the worst way, and I hope it got it. I grew up directly beneath the final approach into Simmon's airfield at Fort Bragg. The helicopters would nearly rattle me out of my bed. But, I knew what they were and what they were doing. It didn't scare me. This guy is prisoner to his delusional conspiracy and is mad, and afraid. Poor guy.
