Proving the Earth's rotation - Foucault's Pendulum timelapse

Foucault's Pendulum is an experiment demonstrating the rotation of the Earth. As the pendulum swings back and forth, the Earth rotates beneath it, making it seem to us co-rotating observers that the plane of oscillation is rotating.

This particular pendulum is located in the Physics Department at the University of Oslo.
