Pregnant 20 Yr Old British Girl Faces Death Sentence in Laos

A 20 Year Old British girl was leaving Laos when airport officials found 1/2kg of Heroin in her suitcase.
Half a year later, her family only found out where she is because a former inmate in her prison contacted them.
She is four months pregnant, possibly due to rape inside the prison, and if convicted in her trial next week, she will face death by firing squad.

I normally have very little concern for drug-smugglers and such, but everything about this case makes me shudder.
