Police Rough Up Airport Traveler

"Police Officer beat up a girl at Reagan National Airport in Washington D.C. The police threw her across the room into a metal chair and into another passenger. Then they picked her up and and then threw her into a table. After she is on the table, they smashed her head into the a metal table, giving her a concussion and permanent brain damage." [YT]

People ask me why I don't ride mass transit.

This is why. I was raised on freedom, the right to live in peace with out some one pounding me on the table saying "IHRE PAPIERE BITTE".

But they would probably taze me on site, because I am not someone who looks like they can be manhandled. They better hope that the electricity over powers my heart and I die. Which is unlikely because I like Anaerobic Exercise. If not, Ill devote my entire life savings, and the rest of my life to rat each one of you, smug uniform wearing bastards, out. - Spoken from some one who wore a uniform, and never once had to solve a problem with violence.

<Insert Dark Comedy Here> As you can tell I have no life savings, and that is the main reason I do not ride mass transit. That's because spent it all on taxes. <Insert Dark Comedy Here>

I want a giant constitution, wrapped in the Geneva Conventions, wrapped in the Magna Carta, that I can smash these authority abusing cockers with.

On a serious note all of our problems, we have no one to blame but ourselves.

Doesn't matter, no audio, but it looks like they were telling her to back up and she didn't, she kept going through her stuff, which it looked like she had aproblem with the tsa guy looking at, that's enough reason to detain her, she's in trouble! If you have something you don't want people looking at you should take it with you!

For the last two years, I had been flying at least twice a month. I don't know what the requirements are to work for TSA (or the police), but certainly intelligence isn't one of them. Here's another good one, I had a Clear pass to skirt the regular baggage lines and went through a special line taking you right to the TSA knuckle-draggers and security equipment. This required a prior background investigation and money (of course). Well, Clear just went bankrupt and there's a lot of people wondering what's going to happen to their collected personal data.

To all those who are screaming fascism at Obama, you should have been screaming a long time ago.

*wtf
by the way, if she was mouthing of at having her personal belongings look through, that can be understandable. And if she was relucant to let the guy look though maybe talk a bit more, instead of just saying 'step away ma'am' Is it just me, or was that not excessive force - it was a woman ffs - seriously - learn some fucking people skills and you won't need to throw people about like that...

If she got brain damage then it's excessive. I don't recall the TSA being ever granted the power to permanently damage people or their property.

"When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty."

Great Jefferson quote, but it should read: "When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is anarchy."

Hi everyone. First time poster, long time VideoSift junkie. About me: I'm an Atheist, an extreme liberal left-wing kind of person, and a science junkie. I wanted to make a few comments regarding all the police brutality videos we've seen recently.

I do think police go too far in some cases. I think many cops are just the guys from high school that got made fun of in the gym's shower for having a small dick. BUT, in most of these videos I see people acting fucking stupid and getting the shit kicked out of them for it. 99.9% of us are honest, law abiding citizens who will never have anything but positive experiences with law enforcement. Cops put their fucking lives on the line to maintain a little bit of order to society. Without them, we are fucking Somalia. Without them, I'd spend my days sitting in the front yard with a shotgun defending my home from outlaw militia gangs who want to rape my family and take my shit.

Regarding this video: if I were a passenger on that plane and the chick in front of me was acting belligerent and not following the security personnel's commands, then yeah, I'd want her taken down. Why? Because I don't want to be on the next plane that flies into a fucking building. And even if she's not a terrorist, I don't want to sit next to her for 4 hours and hear her bitch about how hard it was to get on the plane.

Having said that: for every person who is a true victim of unprovoked police brutality- hellz yeah, sue the fuck out of them. Don't let them get away with acting like jackboot thugs. But come on, for every police brutality video we see, it seems that at some point the person getting the beating started acting the fool and got the pitbulls all riled up. Of course they are going to get bit.
