This amazing song is about former Pink Floyd member, Syd Barrett. Originally released on "Wish You Were Here" (1975). Live performance from Earl's Court in 1994.

PS. The song gets started around the 4 minute mark.

I'm surprised this isn't on the sift already. I'm a sucker upvote for any Floyd that makes the sift. Too bad you couldn't find a cleaner version than this one with the writing down the left side. Anyway, the Pulse album & video are great, and this Earl's Court performance was one of a kind.

upvote for my all-time favorite song!

I used to listen to this video/song every day while writing my thesis. It's a relaxing, poetic, emotional and energetic song all at once. The 27 minutes (or so) original might be superior to this performance, but the majesticness of this performance can only be denied by philistines.
