I'm feeling Floydish right now, so here's another gem from their 1972 film 'Live at Pompeii', "Mademoiselle Nobs". It's followed by the studio version of the song, renamed "Seamus". In the studio version the harmonica is replaced by some highly appropriate lyrics about the howling hound in the background. Enjoy both of them.

anything floyd gets my vote.. best music created in the history of mankind, in my book.. lyrically poetic/meaningful, and music that can make you feel a whole plethora of emotions.. i've never found that in conjunction and in such abundance as in floyd's stuff

yep, i'm a dyed-in-the-wool floydoid, myself. anything that makes the sift gets my vote.. "Aw, I was in the kitchen, Seamus, that's the dog, was outside..."

Funny story about this song -- Someone had brought a dog to the recording studio during some downtime of the Meddle recording sessions. David started riffing some blues and the dog started howling. They were stoned and thought it was hilarious. The hardest thing, they said, was in keeping the laughter off the sound track.
