The Perpetuum Jazzile vocal ensemble – the only Slovenian jazz choir. Conducted by the art director Tomaž Kozlevčar, will celebrate its 25th birthday this year. Its repertoire presents an ear-catching selection of vocal jazz and popular music. The stylistically wide a cappella repertoire of Perpetuum Jazzile, whose concerts consist of different numbers of singers and is usually accompanied by top jazz instrumentalists, ranges from the Brazilian bossa nova, swing, close harmony, to funk, gospel and pop. PJ offers its listeners an interesting mix of vocal jazz harmonies and rhythms, however, it touches their souls with remarkable soloists, relaxed atmosphere and a youth glow.
The music of Perpetuum Jazzile, best presented on the latest album »Čudna noc«, inevitably fills the listener with energy, and whispers to them a lovely motto for life: »Forget you're in a hurry«.
