I demand upvotes or hyper-violent gaming addiction will force me to hunt all of you down and staple your eyelids to your noses and force you to click up! UPPPPPP!
the sports point at the end was good.
The only thing needed to have antentoin drawn to is that violence is only bad if summone suffers from it. Dosent matter how graphically violent something is if its not "real" then its not shocking.
The other important point is weather kids can tell the difference and its good that they focused on this and the fact that there is no scientific evidence to suggest that kids cannot tell the difference. I felt the Kid with a gun although giving some nice visuals ,undermined there argument because it was as unscientific and as stupid as Jack Thompson CAT scan images.

They acknowledged that, though, and on top of that stated that it wasn't even arranged by them.. didn't hurt to include it.
yeah i know they acknowledged it but it just felt tacky compared to the clarity of the rest of the show.
thay are supposedly responsible for the show so they chose or sum one chose to include the footage, you cannot say oh we didn't chose to do it to counter the fact that you then chose to show it. Its like having the cake and eating it.
Fixed that for you, Jack.
It's like saying only 60 out of the 957 (at time of my post) or less than 1 percent of people who watched this video enjoyed it. When in fact, only 60 people bothered to vote.
"I despise Manhunt for the same reason people hate Guitar Hero - why can't these idiots learn to kill REAL people??"
a) instead of tackling real problems they're trying to combat something that has few adverse effects on a small percentage of kids, and what little there may be to discuss (lack of physical activities, social awkwardness) is being completely disregarded in order to promote this false image that the legislators are doing something to diminish the chances of repeated school shootings, when this charade around games has nothing to do with that, and
b) their campaign is basically geared towards removing the responsibility for proper upbringing from parents. Fuck working towards providing better social climate for children nationwide - we can find an easier target and try to take it down instead!
All in all this was a hilarious and an extremely illuminating episode. And damn, I think I'll go play some of those shooters right about now.
HUGE difference between a 12ga and a 5.56mm. The kick on a 5.56/.223 really isn't enough to hurt you. .30-30 or .30-'06 or a shotgun is a different story.
Ah. Haven't fired a 5.56 yet. Had an old Mosin-Nagant 91/30 which was...what? 7.62? That had some kick, but not nearly as bad as the Mosin M44 which used the same bullet if I remember right. Man, that thing started to hurt after the third shot.

I knew a girl who was Air Force reserve, and quite the girly-girl really. She said she loved firing the M-16 it was so smooth and easy.
Just went *dead as I got to the second clip!!
