Stumble ThisKudlow: McCain is ahead in Alaska but its only 45-40 over Obama. It's a traditional Republican State. Why isn't this a bigger lead for Mac? What's he gotta do up there to make sure you carry Alaska?
Palin: That's a good question and you did your homework Larry, that's impressive. Usually such a red state up here, its a no-brainer that the R is going to take the cake up here. This is a little bit different situation now with Obama's message resonating even with Alaskans. That being change and no desire for embracing of the status quo and politics as usual. But something different, something dynamic, and charismatic. That does resonate well, that message of Obama's.

Was this before she was on the ticket?
I'm pretty sure it is....notice how she says that it's "usually" a given that Alaska votes Republican...that implies that she isn't feeling that confident this time around. I'm sure that now she is on the ticket she would not be using the same kind of language that she is using here.
