PS3 - Little Big Planet Demo - Amazing Physics

This is a demo of the 4 player co-op mode shown at GDC (Game Developers Conference) in 2007. This game will be downloadable via the PS3 network. It is being developed by a small, independent group. It allows players to create their own worlds, interact by manipulating objects with simulated physics attributes, and has cool music. Just goes to show, some of the best stuff is coming out of little indie development houses.

This is THE game at the moment, everyone wants to get their hands on it.

I wouldn't say this is THE game. This isn't even a game at all. It's an environment that allows users to create whatever they want, which may in turn be a game. THE game of the moment is Spore (and it will be until it comes out).

It does look astounding but gameplay-wise it could get old. You're relying on the level-editor to spice it up. The pricing will be interesting on this one.

too bad sony are flopping the PS3. only PS3 users will say otherwise.. physics are good but aren't impressive. sony tried to hard to make the PS3 complex, i use to favour PS over Xbox now its the otherway round. Sony thought they had big balls with PS2 then they slap that hefty price tag on the PS3 which made me epic manuever to a Wii and a 360.
Good childrens game.... or if youre simply amused by some realistic physics engine and some playful tunes and bright colours then go for it.

I hope there's no XBOX 360/PS3 war started here.

I have an XBOX 360 and like it. I got to try a Wii for the first time a few weeks ago; cute, but not my style. Definately novel.

All games need a BFG. Especially WoW.

I thought BioShock was THE game at the moment. Available only on the 360/PC too.

Woohoo just bought it today, lots of fun. Plus: if you're looking for a way to get your Missus in front of that lovely PS3 this is definately your game ;-)
