although him saying at the beginning "this is the highest point in the world" is not true at all. its the tallest man made structure, but not even a tenth of the height at the summit of mt everest.

It's the spire on top a really tall skyscraper, it's not one of those Islamic prayer towers... minarets?
I am wishing to go there once they have finished constructing the building. I once had only 2 buildings left for visiting the top 10 highest skyscrapers in the world, but there are so many being built right now, that I have planty of places I want to go/revisit

The Burj's shadow goes out further than the shadow of the building which is as tall as it is ahead of the Burj. Your ears must pop 7 or 8 times traveling in the elevators.
^ Give it time, Las Vegas used to be just a desert. Without an income tax it will also grow a lot faster.
And stop a lot faster in the midst of any economic slowdown.
