Yes, it IS possible that somebody has come up with a really cool invention - the omni-directional treadmill HAS been around for at least 10 years - do a Google search of it:

I just watched a show the other day, no clue what it was, but one of the hosts was showing a "new" interactive game that uses a real life person to interact with the characters on screen. I can easily see these two technologies being easily merged and having a truly, 360 (minus up OR down ) where you can walk, punch, kick and everything else in the game environment. And to think, Florida schools bought DDR to get their kids to exercise . . . .
