Of course, I realize all that is futile and I'm sure most big franchises are probably headed by neocons, but hey I can at least feel some amount of pleasure by not supporting the ones with an outward FOX news like apperance.
My feeling is, if shopping is what defines our "freedom," they've already won.
And I for one welcome our jihadist Islamic overlords because, from the looks of it, they'll be a significant improvement over the neocon absurdity that's passed for "leadership" over the past seven-and-a-half years.
Yes, she's already given the holes away to the enemy in a vain attempt to stave off their lust for blood.
Oh, Shiek is also pronounced, "shake".
Damn. Now I'm craving donuts. Why is that?
That is soooo pathetic and sad. It seems nothing can be said or done without potentially offending someone.

He said chic, not sheikh.
It is insane, completely insane and seeing as I haven't had a DD anything for a good couple of years, hell I'll jump on the bandwagon and say I'm boycotting them too
They can join Dominos who I already was for reasons given above, but that was easy because they are the WORST pizzas I've ever come across, I don't know how they became so popular.
And they join Gloria Jeans here in Australia, because their owners give thousands of dollars to the 'Mercy Ministries' who 'help' women in trouble (by telling them they're possessed mostly, or that their interest in Dungeons and Dragons has led them down their path to dispear... I kid you not, check out the application form and the tick boxes here) but then that wasn't hard either because I don't like their coffee either.
Man, what can I boycott that I actually enjoy?
I already don't buy domino's pizza cause their founder is a religious zealot.
During my trips to the US I've twice purchased their pizza only because Tom Monaghan because is, as you charmingly describe him as, a "religious zealot."
I'm sorry, but when did being a devout Catholic equate with being a religious zealot?
He's helped build infrastructure in poor villages and established organizations to promote the Catholic faith.
Were another man to use his wealth and fortune to promote humanistic causes and atheist communities or whatever the equivalent is be called an atheistic zealot?
He's putting his money where his mouth/faith is. I don't see why you should be upset by this, unless there's some NOW propaganda I'm unfamiliar with. I see unverified claims and rumours but nothing concrete. I'm not impressed by the hate against Tom.
But perhaps its the Thomas More Law Center, which under the guise of religious freedom has pushed to indoctrinate religious values into the government even more than they already are. To this end they have used litigation to push anti-gay agendas, intelligent design, pro-life, and even anti-sex education. So that's why all the Tom 'hate'. I'm not going to buy a product from someone who has founded a legal team dedicated to imposing religious values on a secular nation.
