the only person ignorant of American history is you. you know what is anti-American? torture, repeal of habeaus corpus, round-about of posse comitatus, fascism, free-speech zones, militarized police, "patriot" act, huge national debt, foreign trade deficit, corporate welfare, etc.
Also you should actually read the MCA since you have no concept what it entails. Anyone can now be kept indefinately without any thing but an eventual military tribunal that is arbitrarily convened any time in the future. And if you die from torture, that's ok, cause nothing is illegal now as long as you don't penetrate someone's anus. There doesn't even have to any evidence against you, cause that is classified. Are you a citizen, doesn't matter, cause you'll never see a court to prove you might be illegally detained.
