Wow, this is creepily weird even by Japanese standards. I like it. If I can try and guess at the message of this video, I think it's about the incredibly constrained, plastic lives that most Japanese people are expected to live out.

i went to see the movie version a couple of years ago in tokyo. at the theater, all the mannequins of the fuccon family were standing to welcome the customers. i took some photos with them. that was wonderful.
