Well, to be fair it was Biden who said there would be prosecution during the election campaign, not Obama, who was careful to not comment on that. Still, this is a major disappointment, especially since a mere month ago he said that "it will be attorney general's decision (...) and I don't want to pre-judge that" (1:28)
i forgot who said that,but it is succinct in this context.
the very thing i feared most is happening.
there is a cancer growing in my countries governmental checks and balances,
it has taken almost 50 years to become life threatening...
i fear it may be to the point of being inoperable.
the death knell for the experiment that was is drawing near.
this is my greatest fear.
No more accountability for presidents, past and current.
No more accountability for the auto makers.
No more accountability for the banks.
If you want change it takes hard work and constant organizing. Not pushing a button once every 4 years.
The worst thing you'll ever hear from elected officials is "We need to look forward and not backwards"
