I didn't think it was boring. I didn't watch it though, I listened to it while doing other things. Reminded me of NPR discussions.

It's not (entirely) about how interesting the discussion is. Anyone who's been through college should have had experiences with teachers who could put anyone to sleep simply due to the characteristics of their voice. This interviewer has that kind of low, droning, hypnotic voice.
