I like this about Obama. Good sense of comedy. When Bush tried to joke, it always came off awkward and pathetic. When Clinton joked, it worked sometimes, but usually just sorta fizzled. I think this is a good sign. Seriously.

I would like to see more mainstream beard acceptance. Shaving is kind of a dumb cosmetic affectation. I put it up there with lip extending disks, neck lengthening rings and kohl blackened teeth.
