Gwiz makes a good point here. America freaks out when a male teacher bangs a 12 year old girl. America says "oh, well maybe you shouldn't have done that" when a female teacher bangs a 12 your old boy.
Double standard anyone?
If you hear on the news that a, let's say, late 20's male teacher had a relationship with a 14 year old girl, you are outraged. (or I am, anyway)
And if you (I) hear about a late 20s female teacher having a relationship with a 14 year old boy, the response is: "..really?"
I can certainly see my own hypocrisy, but for some reason it doesn't, well, feel as bad.
