Not sure why this is a surprise. This kind of crap happens all the time at restaurants. I've worked at a number of fast food joints in the past and they all were horrific. Probably the least nasty place was Taco Bell, but that's because all the people on the food line were adults. Beware of any place that has teenagers in contact with your food.
