I get the feeling it wasn't supposed to be about the ending, but rather the comedy of the interaction between him, the girl, and her boyfriend. That and the concept of a ridiculously skinny bouncer.

Dammit, I upvoted too soon. Seriously anticlimactic ending. Watching Michael Cera act like a badass for a few seconds wasn't nearly as cool as seeing him back up that talk with being a badass in some ridiculously exaggerated fight scene, or do SOMETHING!
