hmm ok, you know what war is like? Ok since you do why don't you tell me what its like to level a rifle at someone and pull the trigger then. While you're at it explain what its like to be away from your family for a year or more while constantly wondering if you'll ever see them again at all. How about you also recount your experiences of being blown out of a humvee and loosing a limb or two.

this wouldnt have been as bad if she had said something like "my family really knows what war is like" or words to that effect. she really didnt have to say "no one knows what war is like other than my family." and even that would have been ok, sorta, but then she just had to say "period."
