All the fuss was over the McCain campaign's (Brooke Buchanan & Nicolle Wallace) attempt to micromanage 'the shot.'

They always make sure ol' Johnny never gets shot from the left (melanoma scar) and always has patriotic imagery in the background. Local reporters for NBC (Mike Owens), CBS (Mike O'Connel), & Fox (Charles Jaco) in St. Louis took great umbrage at this.
