This clip doesn't show it, but after they played this, one of the points Olbermann made was that racist tones aside, this is more of a compliment than a slam.

Tiger Woods made a huge splash when he entered the PGA, he's an incredible golf player, he brought in tons of new fans (and therefore $$$) to the sport, and broke down a lot of the barriers for minorities in that sport.

I have to say, if Barack Obama is to the presidency what Tiger Woods was to golf, who in their right mind would vote for Jack Nicklaus in 2008?

It's amusing any time race-obsessed liberals accuse conservatives of being racist. For liberals, it's ALL about race and class ALL the time. Qualifications, merit, hard work, all meaningless. All that matters is skin color or gender. It's really too much to examine, but the core belief underlying liberalism is that America is a mean, unfair, racist place where no minority can make it without training wheels from liberals.

This McCain supporter indeed made an inaccurate comparison. Tiger knows how to play golf, has been doing it for almost all his life and excels at it. Obama is an eloquent lightweight who is told what to say. If the messiah had any brains or thoughts of his own he'd be a conservative. As it stands he represents the best possible presentation of a failed philosophy and political party and not even all of the drive-by media, who now freely admit they work for the taxocrats, can make him look good.
