Not that this is terribly important but to mine ears, Obama did repudiate the John Lewis remark during the debate on Wednesday.

I mean, what does repudiation actually entail? A little dance? Some chanting? One of those smoking amulet things that Catholics swing around?

The whole Ayers thing is built on a pile of lies. The Weather Underground killed NOBODY. They were vandals, they blew up commercial/governmental buildings at night, nobody EVER got hurt, unless you count three members of the group who blew themselves up accidentally. They considered themselves revolutionaries, and many of them still think that "amerikkka" is seriously fucked, but it's a stretch to call them terrorists.

McCain on the other hand did, personally, bomb and kill people, including children, but that just makes him a "national hero".

A terrorist is not a terrorist.

There's a difference between Bill Ayers and Osama bin Laden, but can be called "terrorists" and therefore linked easily together. They are not near the same level.

Ooooh, I*'m a terrorist because I blew up the postbox that one new years with fireworks.. ship me to guantanamo right now!
