OK, so what's this viral contrivance about?

First of all, that was HARDLY "freaking out." That was Matt Damon getting pissed because the douche couldn't remember his 5 lines and was overdoing it. Probably you'd get frustrated too if a payed actor couldn't recite something an amateur high school kid could read more sincerely.

Freaking out is when you yell at a crew guy for 5 minutes straight because he walked in your line of vision...like Mr. Bale likes to do.

It looked to me like he just wanted to get it done and it was taking far too long.

So you guys think this is NOT contrived, is that right?

I think that its too reasonable to be contrived, sure there is still a possibility, but yeah. If you watch entourage, you know that Adrian Grenier is more of a pretty face than a good actor. and yeah, he was overselling it to the point of looking disingenuous, and his arm gestures were annoying to even watch.

In my opinion, with art, i think its alright to be a bit of a fascist. not in the sense that you should be able to freak out at people for 5 minutes or be cruel or threatening, but i think if you have a vision or know exactly what you want, there shouldn’t be any compromises just because you've already tried the line 5 times.

oh yeah and that would piss me off too, blaming the fact that matt damon has worked hard to be successful is why matt is getting impatient with adrian forgetting the website name and over acting.

Regardless of whether this is real or fake , I don't see how getting wound up in a woke environment is constructive.

Biang annoyed at people and showing it is unlikely to produce better results from them , and if anything it makes them think less of you making them harder to work with , Its perfectly fine to say thats not what we are looking for , and maby feal frustraited that its taking a longer time than you thought it would or that its not going to plan , but making a work environment unpleasant is just pointless.

I think he's too smart for hollywood, probably why he gets frustrated easily. I wonder who would win in celebrity jeopardy between Matt Damon and Andy Richter ?

I agree with westy. You may be upset with somebody for not doing a simple read, but the more visibly angry you get, the more flustered you make who you are trying to work with. Not saying Adrian is a good actor, just saying that upsetting him his making him worse.
