Yeah, good thing it's not possible to bloat a Mac as there isn't enough compatible software available.

I like how Mac is a tragically hip kid that's too cool for school, and PC is a guy who would buy tragically hip kids that's too cool for school on street corners.

It's ridiculous how much I love these commercials. Don't get me wrong; I'm a PC guy, but every one of those Mac/PC commercials is spot on.

Yeah, so you needed to get your name into the world by proving you're user friendly and whatnot... but what the hell is a mature and established company doing spreading hate fodder to the masses of Apple fanboys and girls. At this point I'm cringing every time I see a new one of these because I know it's just another argument I'm gonna hear from some Mac fan about why s/he is so much superior to me because I'm still using a PC while they have evolved to the "better" Mac platform. These commercials are just pure hateorade and I think we can all do with a little less of that now a days.

Xenster... that is your opinion..no body is superior to no one everybody has their different opinion this is just another commercial and to me macs are better quality in computers but to others they think they are not..oh well...

Your PC is only bloated if you don't know how to use PCs, I suggest you get a Mac then.

Please note: it's not MICROSOFT (not sure why the tag "Vista" is being used) that is bundling all that crap on your PC, it's the stupid manufacturers like Dell, Gateway, HP, and whomever else that puts together prebuilt rigs. If you're stupid enough to buy from those manufacturers anyways, you may as well reformat the hard drive and reinstall Windows once you get it up and running out of the box, just to save yourself the trouble.

Furthermore, if you build your own PC (as many do), there is no 'bloatware' anyways...

Oh, I was just kidding but yeah I'm sure you could be happy with a Mac.

For games though, limited would be an understatement. Also, I find them considerably overpriced, not to mention once you go beyond buying pre-assembled computer packages to building from your own seperately purchased components the difference becomes striking. Sure Macs come with considerably more included software than typical PC bundles but I'd personally prefer the flexibility of essentially purchasing what I need. After all, it may be free, but it's still factored into the MRP. Not to mention there are increasingly complex, feature-filled free alternatives available for just about any application you're looking for.

Given that though, Macs are generally intuitive, easy to use and some of their software is very well regarded and used by professionals.
