M.I.A. returning to the studio to work on her second studio album, titled Kala. M.I.A. has cited the album as "shapes, colours, Africa, street, power, bitch, nu world, and brave. The album was recorded while M.I.A. travelled through several different locations including India, Trinidad, Liberia, Jamaica, Australia, Japan and the US. The album's producers include M.I.A., Switch, Morganics, Diplo, Blaqstarr and Timbaland.
