I've always thought that Mariah had a fantastic voice but lousy stylings and song selection. I hate it when singers warble like she does at 0:54. That being said she keeps it down in this song and its my favourite of hers. The song is a cover of the Harry (not Henry) Nilsson version from 1971 which was a cover of the original version from 1970 written and recorded by Badfinger. The writers Pete Ham and Tom Evans both later committed suicide.
