It does sound like it, however I am not sure if that was intentional. I don't really care for Slayer's lyrics, but they are excellent musicians. I wouldn't mind hearing some of their instrumental stuff.

Hmmm. I never meant it to be a grand entrance of sorts. I just brought up that specific issue because if I had to pretend that I wasn't Christian to get along with folks here, well, I wasn't going to stay on this site. Heck, I still caught flak over that anyhow. It wasn't like I did anything wrong, per se. I suppose the fact that my avatar had a cross in it suggested that I was a Christian. And for some reason, when I said I hope we could have civil and open discussion of religion, few actually took me at my word. All because I had a cross in my avatar, seemingly. That bugged me and it still does. I really expected better from the users of this site.
That had (almost) nothing to do with anything but I thought I'd mention it anyway.

Perhaps we should make this a private conversation where I'll feel freer to help you see what you really represent to the secular community.
I'm rarely critical of folks here or their viewpoints. The asses around here I find just as endearing as the sweethearts. Sorry, you just happen to be one of those people that grates me. I'm not the only one that feels this way either. Can't you see why?
