For the second half of his biography, we find Leonardo in Venice. Here he experiments with his inventions - a diving suit and glider - which the team make and put to the test. We also see him map-making for the notorious Cesare Borgia.

The BBC Leonardo series is the life story of the famous and mysterious genius, Leonardo da Vinci. The programs use his original writings, expert analysis, drama and builds some of his machines to bring the man and his dreams to life.
