Largest mass extinction ever

Permian-Triassic extinction event, sometimes informally called the Great Dying, was an extinction event that occurred approximately 251 million years age, forming the boundary between the Permian and Triassic geologic periods. It was the Earth's most severe extinction event, with about 96 percent of all marine species and 70 percent of terrestrial vertebrate species becoming extinct.

Can someone snip the last bit of that video out? The bit where the world is naturally getting hotter, then the release of greenhouse gasses immediately enhance the effect?

It'd be a nice global warning point - 'Hi, this is what happens, yes it's true. Arguing that the earth always gets warmer/cooler by periods doesn't mean that we aren't helping.'

Those people anger me. It's like saying "I'm in the desert but my water-bag has a hole in it, so poking more holes in it will really make no difference!"
