And also, check out my Jennifer Connely video I posted, she's riding a supermarket horsie, hubba hubba!
Or maybe vidsift could show the clips from "Path to 9/11" which Clinton and his chums are trying to suppress - with a banner headline reading "Here's the footage Bill Clinton DOESN'T want you to see!"
CNN was so sure Rumsfeld, Rove, et. al would be 'frog-marched' out of the white house by now because of their own lies and fabrications - and they're obviously still dreaming about it.
CNN should follow videosift's example and just admit what they are - 'We're all partisan leftists. We make all our presentations with that in mind. We admit that we pimp things to make the political Right look bad, and cover up stuff that makes them look good.' Then CNN's ratings might not be plummeting. There's a reason why Fox News is top dog right now. They make no bones about their leanings. CNN is still lying about it and saying they're non-partisan. Unless they fess up to the truth themselves, their ratings will continue to diminish.
There was once a time when reports like the one in this vidclip might have led to national outrage. But because CNN has lost so much credibility, the only ones outraged are the already-hardcore leftists.
I think Fox News isn't doing as well with the public as you think. They may still have the lead over CNN, but it's fading, and their execs are worried. Also, I think it's interesting to even care about FOX, or CNN for that matter. They've long since realized that actual complicated news isn't entertaining, and so they've become Infotainment--along the lines of The Daily Show, but A) not admitting it and B) not, not, not, as funny.
Listen to NPR if you want to learn about the world and are willing for work a bit since they try not to paint the world in blacks and whites. It's easy to give up and just want someone to tell you how the world stands, what to be afraid of, and how to vote and pray.
FOX is not bad--they just found their niche, which is often full of hatred and single-minded hosts who appeal to people too busy to think for themselves, and FOX realizes they could sell some ads. I think what many folks who post here feel is that there's a big corporate world trying to tell the rest of America what to think, and in the process--more tragically--telling the world what America thinks. And the folks here are trying to point out that it's not so black, so white. So, Slyrr, post some videos. Teach me. I hope we're all willing to listen.
However, I don't see this happening because I think even the most die-hard of the die hard on the right only half-believe the spin that is spit out. It's hard to put a lot of effort into something that even you don't believe. I mean, if you are paying attention at all, you'd have to be an outright liar to believe and further things like "sadaam hussein was connected to 9-11" or "The war in Iraq is going great and we can win it"
The "Path to 9/11" clips to which he refers have been debunked even by Republican former Gov. Kean, who was the 9-11 Commission co-chair and a paid consultant to that "docudrama".
And I realize that you were speaking off the paranoid cuff, but Fox News' ratings are falling right along with the administration's - so wearing your partisanship on your sleeve isn't necessarily the smartest thing to do.
And that clip was from CBS, not CNN - not that it makes much of a difference in your mind, I'm sure.
I'd rather believe Rummy, thank-you-very-much! He says things are going great! We'll be out of there in no-time! There's no way this could backfire on the Republican party!
...unless these damn reporters keep sticking there nose into it... or the caskets keep steadily coming home.
