Ahh Kevin. A brilliant speaker, really brilliant. I've been to one of his talks after a screening of Clerks 2. It was meant to last for 90mins and ended up going for over 3hrs.

And was hilarious.

Pity his films are all, well... samey now. He hasn't really moved passed a purile level of humour.

I hope he moves on, I hope his 'couple of dicks' movie (first time directing a film that's not his script) is good and lets him move past his stagnating own films, because he is genuinely piss funny when just speaking.

Not really his views on Twilight, more on the teeny bopper fans, eh?

I for one love this series, and I know how unpopular that view is. But the point of them isn't really about vampires and werewolves, but about relationships between people. Not just love, but all relationships. They're super easy to read, end up getting really exciting and action packed and pretty involved. You won't find me bitching about lightweight entertainment.

And to be fair, anything that's not strictly adult content has teenage fans going overboard and screaming about it. Teenage girls are scary crazy. Ask Kurt Cobain!

Love Kevin Smith though, i'd listen to him go off on a rant about any single thing I loved and still upvote the video of it

P.S He needs to take a break from directing though. Watched Zack and Miri this morning, what a lame attempt that was

I don't like Twilight because the author borrowed the very basics of vampire mythology and shat all over the rest. One might as well throw, say, elves in there - you can't go wrong with elves!! It just doesn't compare to True Blood, which has simply bent the 'rules' slightly all the while managing to still make complete sense as far as mythology and logic is concerned.

That idiot girl making retard comments the whole time is really fucking annoying. She's the kind of dumbass who likes to say stupid shit to show off to her friends how fucking COOL she is. I would be embarrassed to even be standing next to her. God how annoying. Every time she said something, I wanted to fucking knock her out.

Also - Never seen Twilight; don't intend to. Therefore, I probably cannot identify with this guy as well as some of you, which maybe explains my angst over some dipshit in the crowd being able to ruin the enjoyment for me.
