Sure sounds like someone made it just so that it could be debunked with all these obvious errors, and the numbers at the end really make it seem that way. Someone is probably just tired of hearing people yell about it (because they're obviously concerned), so they made this just to shut them up.

Of course, it's still not going to do much, I'm sure.

I think the whole birther issue is bunk. But I think the point of this fake Kenyan BC was show that it isn't hard to create a fake document, and that the so-called 'proof' that Obama's Hawaii BC is real could easily have been faked.

Why do you contradict yourself? You say the birther movement is bunk, then follow suit by calling his birth certificate "proof" as if you do not believe it's real. So which is it? Are you for or against the birther movement?

Also, I suppose they faked the newspaper announcements too knowing that in some 50+ years he was going to run for president...

HOWEVER - I don't think that the online 'PROOF OF OBAMA'S CITIZENSHIP!!!!' videos and pictures and other crap have any real value any more than I think this fake Kenyan document does. It's pretty easy to create a fake document, slap pix on the internet, and go around saying "See! See! It's real because I have pictures!"

I don't buy it with this Kenyan thing, and I don't necessarily buy it with the Obama certificate pictures either. Either one could very easily be fake. That doesn't mean I'm a 'birther'. It just means I don't accept these 3rd party blogs that claim they've got the 'real' poop either.

Actually, I wouldnt put it past the birthers to do something like this, and actually try to get the rest of us to believe it. After all, they are willing to ignore obvious fact and evidence, in favor of their fantasy (oh, and that fact that Republicans get PWN'D in the last election). This, is just an example of desperate tactics.

Actually, this shows precisely the opposite. It shows that it's very hard to create a plausible forged document. Look at how many mistakes there are in this forgery, and that's before it's even been thoroughly investigated. I'm sure the age of the paper and ink wouldn't stand up to scrutiny.

By "online 'PROOF OF OBAMA'S CITIZENSHIP!!!!'" do you mean the birth announcements and the certificate of live birth? Because these are not solely 'online' proofs, as well they have been investigated by many people and have passed the 'smell test'. In fact there is a huge qualitative difference between this forgery and the "PROOF OF OBAMA'S CITIZENSHIP". One is clearly a fake and the other is backed up by a great deal of research and much evidence.

All I've seen of Obama's BC are (here you go) online static images (not video). I'm not saying he isn't a citizen. I'm saying the 10 to 20 different "proof that Obama's BC is legit" stuff on Videosift, blogs, and other websites has no more real legitimacy as this other one. I am simply rejecting these 2nd and 3rd hand accounts as potentially fraudulant. The only claim I care about is the one from Hawaii, which says his BC is OK. That's enough for me.
