Obama ran a winning election campaign because he's a guy who's really good at being liked. He's great at rallying the crowd and being charming and likable.
However, he doesn't seem to handle being 'disliked' very well. He seems to back down and change tact when he's not getting praise and admiration.
To help him move forward... everyone who supports him needs to be vocal and loud. At the moment all he can hear is negative conservatives.
MOst of the time I disagree with Bill Maher, I think he's a little TOO smug about his smarter-than-thou attitude.. but I have to agree with him. Obama really needs to say screw you guys, we're doing this.
