What the fuck?
As the implosion of Virginia senator Allen's campaign following his racist "macaca" statement has clearly demonstrated most Americans are no longer willing to tolerate racism. People who share these beliefs are quickly starting to find themselves the outnumbered and "punished" minority.

That said I did edit a comment the other day because it talked about a sexual act on a minor.
I believe that racists get nothing more than validation from comments like "I am sorry you are such a close minded individual" because, well... they're closed-minded individuals, but I'm also anti-censorship so I'm glad this particular meme doesn't really have the fuel it would need to influence anyone but the perpetrator's intellectual equivalents.

It is good to see, however, my previous low opinion of quantummushroom and tedbater affirmed. It's amazing to watch how the right expresses itself now that it's falling apart, from Mel Gibson to George Allen and so on.

For those unfamiliar with Louisiana, substitute the word "parish" with the word "county."
Better yet, I have another question. When did the United States become a nation of whiners? When did the metality set in that we have sit and wait around for the federal government to rescue us? When is the federal government going to fix everything in my life so I can go back to like all of this never happened?
About the same time the resources of the local area were unable to provide for itself. It's the same principle of insurance as far as I see it: you pay your dues, but don't call it in unless you really need it.
That would be when elderly people got stranded in 20 feet of water. That's about the time they decided to sit around an wait for the feds to rescue to them. Or maybe it was when all the volunteers who tried to show up and help were sent away at gun point because FEMA was in charge. Or maybe, just maybe, they sat around at the Superdome waiting for help when sheriffs with shotguns pointed at their faces told everyone to turn around and go back across the bridge because they weren't allowed to walk out of NOLA.
Maybe it was the thousands of gallons of water sent that weren't allowed in to the area because if FEMA were to accept it would nullify it's contractual obligations with a vendor contracted to provide water.
If you're too much of a pussy to call out this douchebag because he's black, that's your problem. Get lost, adults are speaking.
