just find your nearest geek and beg him to fix it. you'll get a much better price on the work, and you'll be supporting your local neighborhood geek. ffs don't ever take anything to the falsely advertised 'Geek Squad'. you'd be better off taking it to an insomniac monkey on ritalin.

Check to see if your geek is A+ Certified before handing over the computer. It won't matter if they are out to swindle you, but at least you'll know they're capable.
