The defendant is obviously an idiot who was out of her mind to even consider going on this show. She put some phones up for sale on Ebay and then sent the auction winner photos of the goods instead of the phone itself. Judge Judy reacted to this like a crazed wolf, at one point even getting personal by having a pop at the defendant's 'weight problem'.

What anyone should be able to appreciate about Judge Judy, is her semantic way of handling bullshit. She speaks the truth most of the time, which is the singular cause, of anyone's derision concerning her....or else they are just anti-semetic

She is a former Manhattan family court judge.
After 25 years of working as a prosecutor dealing with juvenile delinquents, she retired and began her show.
October 2005- Announced on Larry King Live that she has renewed her contract for her show Judge Judy through 2009!

Can't really see how she deals with the non-stop parade of human flotsam, Shiva knows a lesser person would be reduced to expletives and blunt-object tossing....

hmmm. my disdain comes from one of the few episodes I watched in which she told a young man that he should be "earning, not learning". I'm pretty sure that doesn't make me anti-semetic

besides which, watch this case again - I don't see her speaking the "truth" here, insisting that hearsay is "fact" doesn't really count in my books.

yes, the defendant gets what she deserves, I think it's pretty fair to assume we'd all like to see other internet scammers dealt with in the same way (or maybe by using the blunt objects you describe). I just think that judy could have reached the same conclusion without threatening to have authorities investigating her parenting. then again, that just wouldn't make good tv now, would it?

I detest people who get caught being sleaze like that and continue to smile and spout their lame rationalizations. It's a good thing I lack ambition because if I ever became dictator people like her would get two caps to the brainstem and her kids would be put up for adoption.
