^I'm guessing he's just messing with the people, I've never heard anyone pronounce it meyer.

^Lucky, I've actually never heard him play either, but then I don't listen to the radio often, and I avoid those music tv stations like the plague. Still the fact he's got a great sense of humor makes me like him, despite not knowing his music.

Yeah, he's been pretty popular for a number of years and is famous for his folky, bluesy brand of mellow tunage.

You guys've never heard of John Mayer? Catch his best works: Jennifer Love Hewitt, Jessica Simpson, Minka Kelly and Jennifer Anniston.

(Of course, he's also been critically acclaimed as "Slowhand Jr." with his deep thoughtful songwriting and musical style, especially on his latest album Continuum (link to Amazon) which comes down to my shameless plug of the day here.
