Hell, by putting the Patriot act into place, the terrorists won.
By requiring that all liquids be in a clear plastic bag at the airport, the terrorists won.
By requiring a passport to get from US-Canada, the terrorists won.
By enacting a "Threat level" scale, the terrorists won.
By wanting a national ID card, the terrorists won.
By needed armed security at the Superbowl, the terrorists won.
By strip searching random 80 year old women at the airport, the terrorists won.
By making our nation start a world-wide war against terror, the terrorists won.
By even calling a good man "Osama" just because his name rhymes? The terrorists won.
Do you know why they won?
Because that's what terrorists do.
They put terror and fear of everyday life into innocent people's hearts.
That's why they're called 'terrorists'.

Either he made a mistake (and i think he did), and we can simply blame the gods for making two major current issues rhyme. Or he did it on purpose, tongue-in-cheek (right or wrong, funny or not; that's the only way this would make sense and be intentional at the same time).
If the latter, it's not the first time someone has used rhyme, puns or word association to make a political joke and it certainly doesn't give support to terrorism. Such a joke insinuates that "it's easy to confuse the two, as both are evil/deconstructive to freedom", which is in fact an anti-terrorism sentiment.
My humble apologies, as the rest of your post was fine, however i think it's important to be carefull; by finding terrorism and pro-terrorism in every detail, the terrorists really HAVE won.

What I was going for there was that according to Ashcroft: Obama = Osama = death + destruction for all of America.
you're right though, the terrorists have won to some extent. Before 2001 noone ever gave terrorism a second thought, but now your chances of being affected by it are as small as ever, and you'd think it was the biggest threat the world has ever faced. The media has always been the biggest weapon the terrorists can wield.
And someone doesn't agree, remarkable.

Taking sides is a fools errand-after all the applause for MG's comment, and after 6 years past 9-11 and the unconsciousness associated with that event (by design), most monkeys still think in playing the games a retrograde system of government which has been controlled for decades now, that they have some say in their future within that system.......most people have been groomed to be told what and how to think-why do you think there are only a handfull of people who believe 9/11 was a false-flag op, and the rest stand and jeer and deride from the comfort of the crowd???......
