Jerry the wiener dog must have a geek owner. Who else could invent an automatic ball launcher so their pooch could play fetch by itself?

awesome bit of kit.. whoever, made that could make a fortune out of it.

Super dog too, wonder how long it took to train to replace the ball in the shooter?

Dr. Albert Schweizer said lethargy provides a good creative inspiration.

When European colonization was at its peak and many Europeans brought over their bicycles to Africa, native Africans made fun of whites because they thought that Europeans were so lazy that they had to sit down while traveling the road.

It's incredible the amount of energy people will expend in order to be lazy.

Lazy-awesome, that is.

That dog sure is smart. My dog chases it's tail, it doesn't invent ball throwers.

Seriously, style points for the ball counter though.

a historically proven fact: laziness is the no.1 reason behind new inventions

I love that expression, because my Dad used to tell me that often. It may or may not be completely true, but I'm sure there's at least a kernel of truth to it.

God bless all you inventive-yet-lazy sons of bitches.

Another job lost to robots. They can have it this time. Slimy dog-spitty tennis balls are gross.

Me want!

Our new pup loves playing fetch but unfortunately sometimes I'm too busy to constantly toss the ol' ball or stuffed monkey toy for him to chase after.

I second that theory.

Ever seen a bored Jack Russel Terrorist? They throw the ball for themselves. Don't need no new fangled throwin machine.

Also, you do realize that the dog loves a robot more than it's owner now?

I used to see a woman who had dachshunds and one LOVED to chase the ball and would continually bring it back and run and chase it again. I've only seen short hairs exhibit this type of behavior as all three of my longhairs lose interest after a toss or two.

i guess the only way to be lazier will be when im rich, ill buy a pitching machine and buy a ramp for the puppy to carry the ball high enough to drop it in
