2. Crime in Milwaukee and Indianapolis? I'm shocked! Such nice places to raise a family!

3. What do the liberals do about this? They cry when police use "excessive" force (ie shoot a criminal), but they also need someone to call when their house gets robbed. Quite the conundrum...

BillO, this is about the drain on the whole US that this Iraq debacle is costing. Not only is the military the worst shape it may have ever been in, but it's effect everything from the economy, down to freaking weapons manufactures have back orders that will take years to fill. What a waste, all those bullet being shot at Iraq citizens in their own front and back yards. Imagine if some country came and unloaded 780,000 rounds of bullets in your hometown.

1. This country has been in many wars before, somehow our fragile economy has survived.

2. We have plenty of weapons and ammunition in the US, unfortunately most of it is in the hands of criminals. The Bloods and Crips alone could start a land war in Asia if they wanted to.

3. I think you've been watching too many Vietnam movies. Our troops aren't shooting at innocent Iraqi citizens the last time I checked. Give your military and your country some respect for once, even though I know it's not the liberal way...
