Ok.. though I'd kill the cat if mine ever did this - gets an up vote for being funny.

It wasnt funny to me. I had a cat like this once, so it made me hate it even more. I liked the title but not the content. I voted up for your other two videos by the way. People are way too fucking personal about this voting down thing. If you want to clean the queue faster its great, but when a person really doesnt like a video it is seen as a personal attack.

Nothing is better than than the big J.

From the FAQ:

"Negative voting is useful for when you find something that you really don't like. It's also helpful for us if you negative vote videos that don't belong here. This includes things that violate the posting guidelines (eg. self-links) and duplicate posts. If a video dips too far into negative numbers in its vote tally, SiftBot will remove it automatically....."

It seems to me, EMajor, that the neg rating is for videos that are really bad...the ones you REALLY don't like. Voting on every video, whether up or down, has undesired consequences.

If everyone voted on every video, then it is highly possible (and probable) that the regulars here can downvote a video to the point that the Siftbot will automatically remove it. But that isn't fair to the rest of this community...just because I don't like something doesn't mean other users won't.

So, voting on every video is not what the majority of users here want to do. It's not that it feels personal (even though it might) it's just that there is a danger of a handful of viewers voting on every video THEY don't like. Then the video would be automatically booted out...and those who might have liked it would not have had the chance to see it.
