oh, yeah, that's typical driving in Greece. having lived there for a few months I remain quite amazed at the relatively low number of road accidents, considering the way they drive. nowhere near Central Africa's level of a few years back, though.
I lived in Naples, Italy for 3 years... This is commonplace behavior there... In fact, a lot of times, they would put garbage on their hoods, swerve towards the garbage cans and let the garbage slide off, so they didn't have to get out.
